Testimonials

When Michelle first met our 10 year old son, he lacked confidence in his learning and was struggling at school. After a few lessons with Michelle we noticed a more positive attitude towards his school work and his confidence was growing. I especially like Michelle’s approach to learning, she has the ability to find out their interests and apply it in their learning which has been extremely successful with my son. He always comes home with an exciting new experience whilst learning with Michelle so lessons are never boring and always interesting. I am so grateful that we have found Michelle for she is a big part of my sons learning journey.

Engaged Learners

As we approach the end of Term some of our children will have experienced anxiety resulting from the variety of assessments they've had to complete. It is important for them to understand this is natural and that the brain is trying to protect them when it is feeling overwhelmed. Understanding the science behind Anxiety helps children develop strategies to cope when these feelings occur.A brain that gets anxious sometimes is doing exactly what brains were meant to do - keep you alive, warn you of danger, and remind you how much you love your favourite things. It just works a little too hard on the first two, but with a little tweaking - mindfulness, exercise, a happy belly and other things that brains love - anxiety can be brought back to small enough.
